The Return of Joe Hill (full documentary)

This is a 1990 documentary about the life and songs of IWW songwriter and activist Joe Hill. In the late 1980s, a packet of Joe's ashes were found at the National Archives. The film tells the story of how they were returned, through efforts of the UAW, and scattered at a memorial to the miners killed in the Columbine strike. Featuring IWW singer U. Utah Phillips, Joe Hill biographer Gibbs Smith, and IWW artist Carlos Cortez.
